Julie Teal trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Her theatre roles include Paulina in Death and the Maiden, for which she won the Stella Award for best actress, Anne in Ashes, Lady Macbeth and most recently Miss Smithers in Diana of Dobsons. On television, she has appeared in The Bill, Eastenders, A Touch of Frost, Casualty, Waking the Dead, Footballers Wives, Doctors and Honest. Julie was also in Stephen Poliakoff’s film Food of Love, has voiced numerous radio ads and worked for Thames TV, Sky and the BBC.
